We’ve been blessed with amazing weather lately, so last weekend, my boys and I headed to a park for a picnic. We were sent a KLOP set recently and after watching this video I’ve been itching to try it out. KLOP is a fun and easy log tossing game originating from Finland. It involves hitting logs, knocking them down and scoring points. The aim is to get to 50 points exactly before anyone else. To see how the game works have a squiz [HERE].
This is what I packed for our picnic: my trusty Constance Roe Tool Box Bag that fits everything but the kitchen sink, our picnic basket, complete with healthy and yummy snacks, the woolen picnic rug, and our game of KLOP! Fun, fashion, food, what else could a young family want?
Oh that’s right, Winston’s Lamaze toucan toy!
I only recently became a Tupperware convert. But now I see the hype: the containers are so well made! Seeing that I spend a lot of time on the road, I thought this Active Lunch Tupperware set would help me eat healthier as the portions are a lot smaller than what I usually have. Plus it has the word ‘active’ in it, so it must be healthy right? :) Roasted cashews, Cheds, chopped vegies and homemade tzatziki look pretty and organised in pink!
The Tilda Tool Box bag looks like a messenger bag, but it’s so roomy it behaves more like a tote. I can actually fit the entire Tupperware lunch set in it! Constance Roe bags are all handmade from Fair Trade, this bag also comes in 3 other colours!
And if you’ve been eyeing off my cuff- it’s an Elly Lou piece from Mocha. You may recall me bringing the fam to the launch [HERE] earlier on. Needless to say, I love it as it goes with everything!
I recently discovered Melbourne shoe label Walnut. The brand started off as chidren’s footwear but over the years, due to the demands of mothers who wanted adult versions of their kids’ shoes (I’m sure you, like me, have felt pangs of envy when you’ve seen cute kids shoes!). Affordable but still stylish, Walnut shoes are designed for busy moms who are always on the go. I love how comfortable and low maintenance they are, perfect for some time at the park!
How much could a wood chopper chop if a wood chopper could chop wood?
Since the game involves one-handed under-arm throwing , I did some weight lifting with the other… KLOP is more fun with more people. You can spend time in between turns to eat, drink, have a chat, and think up strategies to win. We’ll have to round up grandparents and friends next time!
Wear: Dolce & Gabbana Sunglasses/ Vintage YSL dress / Elly Lou Cuff / Constance Roe Tool Box Bag / Walnut Flats

I’ve always loved picnics. You can make it as gourmet, intimate or family friendly as you like. Pack a cheese platter, bring a bottle of wine or pre-purchase some bento boxes, you can do it any way you like. The most important thing is to ‘pack’ your loved one(s) and enjoy your time together in the sun!
“How much could a wood chooper chop if a wood chopper could chop wood?”
That’s funny — growing up in the U.S., I learned it as:
“How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?”
Guess it’s changed because you guys don’t have woodchucks here!
lol I actually googled that line but never said it in my childhood…thanks Theresa!
Nice dress and shoes combo!
Have a great month :)
