This is what I wore to the wedding I mentioned in this post where the bride and groom met at the Races. It was another half-Asian wedding, so once again I opted for red. Comfort is my most important factor, so naturally I donned a sweater to not freeze, then added a ruffled skirt where many years ago I’d worn as a strapless dress. Tatra in the Dandenongs is such a breathtaking place for weddings, especially when it rains. The moisture further nourished the blossoms, whose pretty petals greeted the bride and groom and each guest with their brilliance.

Bet you never thought you could wear a sweater to a wedding! Hope this provides you with some inspiration for your next outfit. Have a gorgeous weekend lovely! I’m off to another wedding and the Caulfield Cup! See you on Monday!

Thank you Kate! Glad you approve :)
Dear Cecylia, you look so chic: this outfit and its vibrant shade suit you so well! Thanks for the inspiration! I also like mixing fabrics, and having a more ‘informal’ piece over a structured and elegant skirt/trousers is a great way to create an original styling. Hope you are enjoying a great w-e!
thank you so much Caterina, I love hearing feedback from you. Ooh another texture mixmaster- please show me your photo or send me a link to your blog post!! xx
