S. Wallis Jacket & Skirt / Country Road Skivvy (see similar one here) / Chorus Eri Choker / Vintage Clutch / Arezzo Heels (similar style here)
Two new labels caught my eye this week.
Chorus, the brain child of Cassandra Wheat and Louise Pannell, two kindred spirits who met in high school and reunited on Australian soil after having worked in fashion capitals across the globe. Chorus embodies everything I love in a fashion label: conceptual designs, amazing fabrication with avant garde tendencies but still wearable. You may recall a gold oversized jumper I wore in this post, also by Chorus. This ‘Eri’ choker is from their latest collection, The Release. Laser cut acrylic Judo men clustered together, I call it the ‘Kickass Necklace’.
And the tweed set? It’s by a new Melbourne label called S. Wallis. Remember my beloved label Stella & Minx? Well think of S. Wallis as its sophisticated cousin. Classic and modern designs cut to perfection in natural fibers, I’d not had so much fun playing dress ups in a long time. The new S. Wallis collection is actually really summery, think white silks chiffon dresses with full skirts and tux-style jumpsuits in black or white (Derby Day Alert!), I didn’t anticipate the hot weather to arrive so soon to Melbourne, which is why I picked out this tweed set. Plus, if you have a squiz here, it’s pretty evident that tweed will still be a major mainstay next winter. Plus, can’t complain about the good weather! I’ll just have to visit 512 Malvern Rd Hawksburn again for that little white dress!
Nice outfit.

That necklace is awesome on so many levels! :)
I think you did well picking the tweed too, there have be a few unexpectedly cooler days even here in Queensland. Plus that tweed skirt would look great on it’s own with a simple little cami or something when the warm weather does hang around! :)
haha yeah love those high kicks! Makes me want to get fit and flexible :D Yeah the tweed skirt is divine! It would look great with just a white shirt too!
