“If we have a baby then you’ll only love me half as much.” Hubby once said, half jokingly. That’s why we put that task on hold, for half a decade… But thankfully, that self-made old wives’ tale has well and truly been busted. Now that we’ve had Winston, I can fully testify that love doesn’t work that way. Woot!

Some one wise once told me that when a baby comes along, love actually multiplies. Well there’s never been this much love in our families that’s for sure. You should see my Mom when she’s with Winston! Turns out that love isn’t ‘subtracted’ or ‘divided’ the more you give it away, it actually increases.

Maybe that’s how Eva Q started making these adorable ear headpieces. She loved the exquisite fabrics used to create her haute couture gowns so much that instead of discarding the excess (which happens a lot in fashion design), she has given them a new lease of life. Painstakingly cutting and folding them into florettes, sewing and beading them one by one, these ears are the fruit of her labour.
