Found an exuberantly coloured shirt in the op shop a few months back and thought it’d make the perfect skirt. Because:
1) I’d look like a jester if I wore it as a shirt
2) the checkers do a better job at disguising my derrière than my bosom
3) the sleeves help to hide the evidence of a big mamma brunch
If you like my cross-shirt-dressing ideas, see more here. I chose something plainer to pair with the shirt-skirt, like this cashmere top. A gift from my Mom, it was the perfect present from her because she is the exact embodiment of this warm and comforting luxurious piece. For cashmere care tips, have a squiz here.

How many of you like Bloglovin? I signed up to the blog-organiser years ago and it’s only this year that I’ve really gotten into it. Every morning, I open up Bloglovin to see the latest posts from my favourite bloggers to absorb all the eye-candy and read their musings, it helps me to start the day. Creatively. Fearlessly. Enthusiastically. So, what do you say? Shall we start a Bloglovin’ relationship together? Ma cherie?
Where: On route to get groceries
Wear: vintage everything, Charles Jourdan heels (last seen here), DIY collar (from accidentally burning hubby’s shirt)
That shirt makes a fabulous skirt! Love the heels you’ve paired it with, and Theodore is so cute as always!
I love that you could look at the shirt and see a skirt right away – you’re very talented! How do you know it would work? Do you just grab one and try it on? I assume you only button it so far and then use the excess to make a cute bow like you have here. You can tell I’m curious with all the questions! haha!
