Last weekend I attended the glamorous Sailing Lifestyle Party in celebration of the ISAF Sailing World Cup at the Sandringham Yacht Club balcony with hubby and many beautiful friends. We were blessed with ultra fine weather and fabulous company, once again. You may recall my attendence last year in this post.
Digging Sarah (Sarah Style Emporium)’s tangerine ASOS shift and bright MIMCO necklace. The pink clutch also adds colour-blocking cred and I love that she kept her shoes neutral to elongate her legs and bring attention back to her gorgeous dress.

The wind became more pronounced as the afternoon proceeded, Monica and I were so glad we didn’t wear hats! But if you look closely, my crochet bag has a hat and a key on it. The hat, so that symbolically I did wear a hat (it is a yacht club, after all!) and the key, because our last name is Kee. :)
What I wore: Vintage everything and wind. There’s a similar wrap dress on sale here. I styled a model in this shoot using these snakeskin sandals.
A special thanks to the brilliant peeps at AMPR for having us and to hubby for taking all the photos. While I was writing this post, I was reminded once again just how blessed I am. Not because I deserve it, but because of you. As Audrey Hepburn said ‘Anyone who ever gave you confidence, you owe them a lot.’ So thank you for being such wonderful and supportive readers. Many people have been asking me if I miss my boutique, and to be honest, I don’t. The boutique was almost like a ‘baby’ to me but so is my blog. It’s so easy to be tempted into favouritism. Now I finally have more time to devote to my blog and hopefully it will be a joyous read for you. Wherever you are in the world, I hope that the same sun that shines upon us brings warmth and excitement to you.

I’ll be honest. I’ve put off reading this post. I’m currently sitting in England in 9 degree weather and I haven’t seen anything close to the sun all day. Every time I read your posts, I fall just a little bit deeper in love with Australia and everything it has to offer. Realistically I know it will probably be a long time before I get to visit so each time, I’m crushed just a little bit. But! Then you put up all the lovely eye candy. All the fabulously styled people. The fun events. And I can’t stay away! It’s like I’m addicted!! This is brilliant and it’s sent my imagination on it’s own sailing event that I hope to attend some day.
Everyone looked fantastic, and I love the dress you wore to the event! It certainly looked like a beautiful day for sailing, which is very far away in terms of weather in Chicago!
