Last weekend I attended the glamorous Sailing Lifestyle Party in celebration of the ISAF Sailing World Cup at the Sandringham Yacht Club balcony with hubby and many beautiful friends. We were blessed with ultra fine weather and fabulous company, once again. You may recall my attendence last year in this post.
Digging Sarah (Sarah Style Emporium)’s tangerine ASOS shift and bright MIMCO necklace. The pink clutch also adds colour-blocking cred and I love that she kept her shoes neutral to elongate her legs and bring attention back to her gorgeous dress.
No summer party is complete without the doyenne of Australian fashion, Jenny Bannister!
Snuggling up to Cheryl (Business Chic) and Ricardo (owner of Nomad, an amazing lifestyle concept store in Albert Park). Adore Cheryl’s vintage shades!
Celebrity stylist Philip Boon channeling modern Riviera style with his blue-cum-white colour palette, nautical top and linen chinos. Check out his shoes!
The perfect day for sailing!
Always awesome to hang out with 2 of most popular Melbourne bloggers- Sarah (Style Melbourne) and Phoebe (Lady Melbourne)
The beautiful Jasmine (Friend in Fashion) and Monica (Style Platform) being cracked up by hubby
Sarah, the director of Wealth Enhancers. She is one rare breed of beauty and brains, always a pleasure to see her at these events.
In my opinion the best looking couple in the online magazine industry: Tania and Daniel (Fashionising.com)
The wind became more pronounced as the afternoon proceeded, Monica and I were so glad we didn’t wear hats! But if you look closely, my crochet bag has a hat and a key on it. The hat, so that symbolically I did wear a hat (it is a yacht club, after all!) and the key, because our last name is Kee. :)
What I wore: Vintage everything and wind. There’s a similar wrap dress on sale here. I styled a model in this shoot using these snakeskin sandals.
A special thanks to the brilliant peeps at AMPR for having us and to hubby for taking all the photos. While I was writing this post, I was reminded once again just how blessed I am. Not because I deserve it, but because of you. As Audrey Hepburn said ‘Anyone who ever gave you confidence, you owe them a lot.’ So thank you for being such wonderful and supportive readers. Many people have been asking me if I miss my boutique, and to be honest, I don’t. The boutique was almost like a ‘baby’ to me but so is my blog. It’s so easy to be tempted into favouritism. Now I finally have more time to devote to my blog and hopefully it will be a joyous read for you. Wherever you are in the world, I hope that the same sun that shines upon us brings warmth and excitement to you.
Cecylia.com will now be hosting give-aways every fortnight. And boy have I got something incredible planned for you on Friday! Stay tuned! BISOUS!
Fun pictures! Your dress is perfect for the occasion and beautiful. Couldn’t have picked a better one for such a fashionable event! Love it.
Thank you! I try my best ;)
