My favourite jewellery designer Paula Walden recently sent me some of her gorgeous headpieces from her ‘Starlight Echoes‘ collection to play with. You may recall I own one of her gorgeous fascinators, see here. I really need to improve my photography skills so I decided to shoot these pieces myself. After searching high and low in the house for an object that would do Paula’s head pieces justice, I found Chrissy the Cocker. I don’t actually know if Chrissy is a girl or a boy, but the canine did not object and was the perfect model, as opposed to Theodore who refused to cooperate with these head pieces.

The Floral necklace is from Paula’s latest collection, worn as a head piece, I love the velvet ribbons!
I know the Races are a couple of months away, but we should seriously consider Paula’s pieces if we want to stand out from the crowd! They are wearable pieces of art! I would wear them to weddings, parties, shopping and yes, even the supermarket.
