When I was kindly invited to the Penthouse Mouse Opening party for LMFF, I knew instantly what I was going to wear. I have been waiting for my new Romance was Born and Kate Rhode bracelet for 6 months. I’d just picked it up from the Kate Woodbury Gallery the day before! Apparently I was the only one who ordered it in blue. The rest of the outfit sort of revolved around the chunky cuff bracelet. Wore my one shouldered Sara Phillips dress(available here), vintage sunnies and necklace, and my new Paula Walden ring. I am really in love with Paula ‘s stuff right now, cannot wait to debut more pieces by her at LMFF.
The beautiful Jolet, in her own design, in front of her AW11 collection, which I adore, especially the silk prints, which are photographs the designer had taken of the Alps in Switzerland.
The super stunning Jasmine, our Friend in Fashion, also seen here.
Food as Art, or art as food.
The gorgeous girls from Taboo
Someone I’ve been dying to meet- Fashion Hayley! Love her necklace!
The amazing guys at Volker Haug (cool dude on the right) who created the lights in the PHM shed in Docklands. The fruit hat Lisa is wearing on her head is a light! Check out their sensational website here! These guys are as passionate about lights as some of us are about fashion :)
Posing with the Creative Director of LMFF, the dashing Grant Pearce, who used to be the editor of GQ Australia and the Publisher of Vogue Australia, but is still one the best-dressed Australian men.
The legendary Australian designer Jenny Bannister, who continues to wow me every day with her energetic passion and support for the future of Australian fashion as well as her uncompromising style. Her ‘Made in Australia’ necklace reflects our common vision and belief for our nation, fashion or not. I cannot wait to see her pieces at Fashion Full Stop.
Philip Boon, the multi-talented celebrity stylist and fashion host who never ceases to ooze cool.
Two of my favourite online magazine editrices. The stunning Tanya (far above) from Fashionising and the beautiful Sarah (above) of Style Melbourne, both are paramount in shaping Melbourne’s fashion scene to what it is today via their online magazines. Cheers ladies.
Peace Symbol from hair – reminds me of the black hair dress I saw in Paris last year. Maybe someone can make this smaller and we can wear it as a pendant. That’s all from me for now. Next up, Fashion Full Stop!
that was actually the first thing i noticed, your beautiful blue accessories…coincidentally, i am doing a blue series…all handmade accessories with the hues of blue. This one got me more inspired. You look really fabulous in that one shoulder ensemble.
Lovely accessories! You look great … amazing pictures too! :) Thanks for sharing.
