In my previous post you already saw my printed Antonia Goy dress, here I am again (on the same day) to show you more amazing Street Chic photos- no not of me! But how cute is the pig?
I walked past these 3 and realized that all 3 of them looked familiar – on other Street Chic blogs. Especially the middle lady- it’s Caroline Issa, the MD and owner of Tank magazine. Later the next day I actually met her at the Felder Felder party… =) Yes she is a huge fan of the twins too!
I also walked past these 2 and realised that it was Caroline from Caroline’s Mode – one of my favourite blogs! I love the girl on the right too, she is also a blogger. I thought it was Missoni but the set was H&M. How come I never find anything nice there for winter?!
Ah, my adventures continue, as I drooled over everything at Gabrielle Geppert but realized that I could just buy a new designer piece for a similar price…ok maybe the Hermes Constance was actually a good deal (3000 Euros vintage instead of 10,000 for a new one) but I couldn’t decide that and a Chloe croc bag…
To be honest I really wish I could bring this appreciation of style and fashion back to Melbourne. We are too casual and not many of us are fashion-forward. I walked past a basement store which contained the most out-of-this-world avant garde Couture garments- many designed for singers and some private clients. Love this stuff!
That basement showroom was very close to the Maison Martin Margiela store- my mecca. I always pay it a visit when I’m in Paris, no matter how busy my schedule is. After all, Margiela is my favourite fashion designer. He is so original that he’s dubbed the ‘fashion designer’s fashion designer’ and no one reworks classics in a unique and original way like he does. I’m sure he’s enjoying his retirement now.
In Antonia Goy dress, Manning Cartell jacket, vintage Nina Ricci bag, YSL ring and Marc Jacobs booties.
Lovely bloggers! Thks for your comment.
See U.
