The last night of MSFW blew me away as we attended the RMIT student series runway show. I love seeing collections that are not driven by commerciality but by creativity. The talented graduates wowed the crowd with their innovation, ingenuity and imagination. I would love to sport some of Chris Ran Lin’s knitted jumpers (his colour palette for next winter is superb) and Stephanie McPherson’s printed silk dresses one day!

So lovely to see Taylor and Sarah, Sarah, and Dhini, whose show, on the night before, I had to miss due to work commitments. Really looking forward to catching up with everyone properly now that MSFW is over and we all have some breathing space. It was freezing again so I wore another wool dress! After the show, we grabbed a bite and a drink at Emerald Peacock with the girls, before heading out to Made in Melbourne at Melbourne Central.

Meagan’s printed Gorman pumps are so colourful and fun! This stylist and photographer has style from head to toe.

Made in Melbourne was held in the heart of Melbourne Central and showcased Melbournian designers including Reverie (designers Emma and Krystina above), Violet & I, Denise Spalk, Marion Liese and many more. They are al so talented! I am very blessed to be doing a photoshoot this weekend with pieces from Reverie and Marion Liese, you won’t have felt real silk until you feel these pieces!

What I wore: Vintage everything, (there’s a similar gold feather piece by Aurelie Biderman here and a similar Eddie Borgo tassel necklace here), YSL pumps
MSFW may be over, but spring fashion is just getting started! SO thankful that the weather is warming up this week and we can finally enjoy some vitamin D and thinner layers. I’m super excited to be dolled up in Parisian style for L’Heure du Thé (French High Tea) at the Langham on Saturday a(a blog post will ensue don’t you worry) and shooting with the talented Lisa Frieling on Sunday with horses and a gun.
Hope you are embarking on a gorgeous weekend, and hope it’s both eventful and relaxing.
xx Cecylia
