Leonard St Weekender Dress / Vintage Everything Else
Have you ever visited the Manchester Unity Building? It is that magnificent art deco building situated on the corner of Collins and Swanston street in the heart of Melbourne. I’ve always walked hurriedly past it in the past but recently had the opportunity to visit Cupp, the health food store that delivers super food super fast for my morning juice cleanse, and Smile Solutions, my new orthodontist! Yes, I’m finally doing something about my crooked smile! Will tell you more about it next week :)
This Leonard St Weekender dress has become my new BFF. It’s the perfect number to lounge around in on a family picnic, comfy enough to wear to Sunday lunch, and can be dressed up in the blink of the eye with some heels.
Also, yesterday I attended the media launch of the Jean Paul Gaultier from the Sidewalk to the Catwalk exhibition at National Gallery of Victoria and had the chance to preview a vast collection of his haute couture garments. It was breathtaking to say the least. It’s the first time Gaultier’s unparallelled creativity and exquisite craftsmanship is showcased in Australia. This is no ordinary exhibition, even the mannequins move and talk! You’ll have to see it to believe it. I’ll show you the photos next week, but if you can’t wait that long, head to the National Gallery of Victoria. The exhibition (and the delightful weather forecast) will surely knock your socks off!
Beautiful dress and print! I can see why you love it so much, it’s stylish and versatile.
