Lab coats are usually associated with Albino mice, frog dissections and high school chemistry classes, not with fashion. I wore lab coats during uni throughout my clinicals, but never thought that I’d wear one by choice later on in life. But this printed lab coat from Fame Agenda makes such a sartorial statement that I can’t imagine my life without it! The illustrations cover an array of motifs from botany to zoology, top hats to tea sets. Trust me, you’d want to wear it everywhere except to the science lab. The coat comes from the latest Fame Agenda collection titled “Mad Med”. It would even suit a ‘Mad Hatter’s’ Tea Party!
I kept with the medicine theme as well as the colour scheme. But since I’m an animal doctor, I swapped my usual clutch for this cute children’s book.
When I was young, I used to pretend play doctor with my friends all the time. Perhaps secretly, we all want to be doctors. We all want to have the knowledge and power to help others and save lives. Well, here’s your chance! And you don’t even need a stethoscope!
Fame Agenda and I have teamed up to give one lucky reader this Mad Med coat! Cut in a boxy fit with adjustable waist-tie, I consider this monochrome cotton coat a collector’s item. The print is perfectly symmetrical, and the pockets are deep enough you don’t even need a (doctor’s) bag!
To win, simply like the Fame Agenda Facebook page, follow @FameAgenda on Instagram and make a comment below to tell us why you love this coat.
We will be announcing the winner on the 1st August. Can’t wait to read all of your entries!

Monochromatic is anything but mundane with the Fame Agenda Madmed Doctor’s Coat.
Defy dreary days with an injection of fresh white, anchored with a grey, surrealist allover print.
The perfect pairing to denim jeans or thrown over an LBD for a look that’s casual cool. A must-have transeasonal essential!
You are such a brainy fahsionista! I can so see you wearing this coat! Good luck Taylor!
This eccentric Doctor’s Coat makes me think of both high Victorian England and its fascination with social engineering via institutions, and the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Macabre and curious, this piece will compliment the already highly eccentric Ruby Slipper wardrobe admirably.
definitely- I can so see you in this!
Fantastic look dear! :)

OMG how awesome! I’m such a science nerd. I only wish the scribbling I did on my lab coat was anywhere near as cool as this. Love it!!!!!!!!!!! I’m going job hunting post bub soon. Can you imagine me hitting phama again in this? lol
definitely!!! I can so see you wear this to your new job!!
Wow, Wow, WOW!!!!!
I absolutely love this jacket!!
Being a stay-home mum to three girls means that I don’t often get to treat myself to much, especially as my husband has only just started work after being put off late last year.
Finances are always tight, and I feel guilty if I spend anything on myself, apart from the essentials.
I can 100% ensure you that if I won, this jacket would be welcomed into a very loving home, hung from the fanciest coat-hanger, in it’s own special spot in my closet!
I would also be able to loan it to my beautiful sister who works 6 days a week to support her two young daughters after her marriage broke down. She could loan it for a rare girls’ night out whilst I babysit! Let’s face it, the more this jacket is on view for the public, the better!! Thanks so much for the opportunity to win!
Maybe I don’t have a chance to be a doctor (since I don’t study bio-med) but I wish to wear this funky jacket around uni campus. The knee length makes it perfect matching any dresses, pants or skirts. By adding the waistband, it turns into a trench coat silhouette. Of course, out of all reasons, I absolutely love the unique eye-catchy print! Monochrome or neon, I can imagine wearing any colour (not colour prints though) underneath :D
