The obvious topic for this outfit was maternity wear as I’m sporting a nursing dress, however, a) you may not have noticed that this is a dress designed for breastfeeding (I know, how nifty is it?! If you are intrigued and want to know how it works, you can check the full ‘mechanisms’ here), or b) you are not interested in maternity wear. If you have answered yes to both, then great, coz I have something to share with you.
I had an epiphany yesterday. Being a mom is a lifelong commitment! I know it sounds so obvious, but motherhood is still very new for me, I’m still on training wheels. I made the realisation that even after I go back to work (give and take) in a year’s time, I will still be Winston‘s mom. So since motherhood is going to be my longest career choice, I better not take it lightly, and give it my best shot. My latest assignment? Tending to Winston’s 3-hourly ‘Hunger Games”. See? I told you that the nursing dress would come in handy!

Ah, the 3 hourly feeds.. I know them well! And evening cluster feeding, yikes! That is a lovely dress and thank you for reminding me of that website. :) I also really recommend Dote nursing wear.. they have some really elegant designs that are good quality and not super obviously nursing wear.
