Vintage Dress, Belt & Bag / Ties & Whimsy Tie / Lanvin Heels
My dear friend Lady Melbourne knows me too well. Being well aware of my undying love for men’s ties, an almost-scary obsession for anything vintage-y and deep appreciation for innovative design, she introduced me to Ties & Whimsy. The Brisband-based label is the brainchild of Alisa Newey, the accessories designer who found her inspiration from the delightful markets of London, to create unique pieces with a surprising twist. All of her original designs are composed of vintage elements. Championing recycling and nouveau design, naturally, I fell hard for Ties & Whimsy.

Ties and Whimsy are beautiful and such a brilliant idea! My favourite design at the moment would have to be the Red and Blue ruffle or the Teal Spot!

And the stack of magazines behind you – wow! Wish I had let me collection grow that big – I tend to recycle or donate to the doctors/dentists waiting rooms when I overflow the book case.

I have been a fan of Alisa’s for ages now and her ties are swoon-worthy! My absolute favorite is the T&W-BT-Yellow Tie! I can see it taking my favorite pair of jeans anywhere they want to go – and it’ll suit the dress that I will just HAVE to buy *wink*!
