In her 2008 Spring collection, Miuccia Prada fronted the season with a fantasy and whimsical theme. Her silk chiffon garments were so finely crafted they were like pieces of art and as each size 0 model cat-walked, their hems flowed flirtatiously. The front row ‘oohed’ with excitement and ‘aahed’ with amazement at her ‘fairies’ theme. Each Prada season is a new creation. Miuccia is a leader, not a follower. This designer seems to have unending imagination and unparalleled knowledge of the arts. Miuccia’s 2008 Spring collection was a breath of fresh air and transported her viewers to another world. Her fans obviously have a lot of cash but are also young at heart.

Here is a Jane Birkin-lookalike wearing a beautiful Prada creation. She keeps her hair free and her accessories to a bare minimum. This dress is for-sure a conversation starter. If it were not for the price tag and the dry-clean-only care instructions, it would be a great companion for going on holidays.
I found the catwalk version- I am not a big fan of the stockings and the cut-out boots. But the dress gets big ticks for me.
That is a beautiful dress! But really don’t like the stockings and cut out boots- totally ruin the look! The white and black shoes in the first pic are cool, are they Prada also?
Yeah the white+ black shoes are from Prada too- the elfin-like Sasha’s wearing head-to-toe Prada
