The Sunday before Easter, we caught up with the ladies of Meet Me On the Streets, Rach and Bec, at Camberwell Market. You may recall their photo of me at LMFF here. I adore their blog, so much eye candy! It turns out Bec and I have a common bestie, small world! I’ve been anticipating a chance to collaborate with the talented duo, so when the weather smiled, they offered to shoot me, and hubby…

I actually came coat-less to the market. The temperature started to drop so I turned to the first stall upon entrance. Hiding from racks of vintage articles, a mod 60s style cream knitted jacket caught my eyes and the attraction was instant. It and my pants were meant to be. Turns out, the lady who sold it to me, was a colleague during my very first retail era at Miss Sixty, I haven’t seen her for 7 years! Later, I bumped into one half of Madam Virtue, the ever so stylish JC, who gave me his seal of approval for the purchase. For more mod-inspired pieces, see here. This is only my second visit to Camberwell Market, yet I’m beginning to wonder why I should shop elsewhere when each time I’ve scored pieces like this, this and this.
When I was younger, I didn’t have much luck with romance. I was convinced that I’d never get married. But God had better plans. I’d never imagined that I would be married to my best friend. After 4.5 years of dating and 4.5 years of marriage (if you wish to see our wedding photo, it’s here), we still have never argued once (because we’re too busy laughing). Thanks be to God- the best matchmaker. And thank you Bec and Rach for a delightful afternoon and these fun-filled photos.
