Recently we had the pleasure and honour to have Sydney-based cashmere designer Rebecca McGeoch visit us. She oozes with impeccable taste and style, it is no wonder this interior designer made a smooth transition into fashion, designing her own brand of cashmere garments. The idea of toying with the luxurious fabric known to man (and women) to create gorgeous, wearable and affordable pieces attracted Rebecca. Here she is wearing a piece from her AW11 collection which our boutique will be a proud stockist of early next year.
Rebecca reminds me of a fine mix of Kelly Wearstler and Rachel Zoe, with all the class and feminine energy. She is toting the Lady Dior and wearing Miu Miu wedges. Sheer class.
We cannot wait to see her again and to have her beautiful garments arrive at the boutique just in time for winter. For updates on Rebecca’s pieces, stay tuned to this space.

You all know that I am a big of Street Chic pictures. These are all taken from Elle Street Chic, The Sartorialist and Garance Dore or your viewing. Those of you who love pink, you will be in or a treat.
I have had an insane week and have only clocked a minimal amount of sleep. I can only say that I cannot wait for Paris Fashion Week! The girl below in the gorgeous baby pink dress with strong shoulders really make me Paris-sick. I think it is because of the one point perspective view of the autumn trees. Her shoes are drop-dead gorgeous too.

I don’t remember the name of this pretty young thing, but her dress has left a lasting impression. I love vintage style dresses. The red belt defines her tiny waist beautifully and those shoes are highly covetable.

Super-stylist Rachel Zoe giving us the cold shoulder in a cashmere cable knit dress. She loves gold, look at all her bling, even her clutch has been giving the bejeweled treatment. I like those clear chairs! Have to remember to pull up your pants when you sit on one of them.

Eclectic in vintage fuchsia, I applaud this darling outfit- only simple and classic accessories required. Go patent leather shoes! What a contrast she is with the people behind her…

Obviously a model with great taste. I cannot get enough of her sleeveless leather biker jacket and those peep-toe boots! She gets extra style brownie points with her zebra clutch and these gold medallion necklace.

My favorite shot- pastel pink ensemble that resembles a jumpsuit. Her apricot leather belt is an elegant and essential divider of her outfit. Love it! You could do this look with denim too.
Carrying a tapestry bag, dressed in fuchsia ruffles, latex leggings and odd-coloured laces. Only the Stange can pull it off.
I have to admit, I don’t wear much pink, but these photos have inspired me to opt for pink next time I am choosing between 2 LBDs.

My July Shoe Lust-Have List- complied from the beautifully photographed pictures from Net A Porter.

How gorgeous are these grey and red polka-dotted linen Charlotte Olympia ‘Greta’ pumps? Charlotte is a London-based Luxury Accessories Designer. You can check out her complete collection on www.charlotteolympia.com. These cute pumps would soften a leather-clad look or compliment a garden-lunch-look. Either way, they will elongate legs, provide height and attract envious looks from passers-by.

These snake-skin and suede bootie heels are from Chloe. They are in my favourite colour. You can wear these with absolutely anything- jeans, skirts, dresses, shorts, in pretty much any shade. That’s the beauty of grey. I especially adore the palisading leaves curving around the back of the shoes. Simply stunning.

These Louboutins have got to be The Party Shoe of the season, named ‘Galaxy Pass 100 Sandals’.’ They are very Art Deco and are ultra stylish. I would not just save them for a ball gown for a black tie event, pull these beauties out and pair them with your favourite skinny jeans or grab your shortest mini since these heels are going to help your legs go on forever! These mirrored sandals belong on the mantle piece.

Another adorable pair of Christian Louboutins in blue suede. Great ankle tassel detailing, they would be so flattering on. I can imagine Rachel Zoe recommending these to her size 0 clients.
Ahhh, Lanvin, divine. What’s not to love? The gold cone heel, the black patent leather and the grey embossed upper are such a wonderful combination for the lady with sophisticated style. These heels will never date and will add an ounce of luxury to any outfit. Just do not get stepped on!

These Lanvin satin ankle strap pumps are kind of ‘Minnie Mouse going to a Disney Disco party’ shoes. I am showing this view so we can appreciate the intricate detailing around the back. These are so feminine and romantic. I love the pink satin upper, the black ankle bows and the jewelled-studded heels. They take my breath away. You rock, Alber Elbaz.

I love unique shoes and these Ioffer Randal ‘Neve’ ankle boots will catch anyone’s eye. They are in butter-soft beige leather- very flattering for any skin tone. Round toes shoes are so comfortable and chic. I just love the laser-cut mesh detailing. The mutiple erforations really give these shoes an edgy, urban look. A nice tan would be all that is required to compliment these booties.
