Vintage white dress/Mawi necklace/Pinkie the Snail ring/Crocodile bracelet/Chloe shoes

Hello darlings, how was your weekend? I had really busy one- working at the vets, doing housework, organising our boutique’s birthday bash and attending a runway show. I am also really excited about Rosemount Fashion Week, already starting to plan my outfits for the shows. In all this chaos, I chose this rather ‘clean’ post for clarity’s sake. Hope you like it :)
I have never really been a minimalist, when it comes to fashion. I’m more of an Anna Dello Russo at heart because I prefer the ‘more is more’ approach. But I live in Melbourne, which in its mildly conservative ways like to adopt Coco Chanel’s command of ‘take something off before you leave home’. So when I saw this vintage white dress from the local market I knew I had to debut it in a special way. I love the sporty-chic look it exudes and the pockets! I try only to buy clothes that have pockets, they’re so handy! I teamed this dress with my Mawi medallion necklace, vintage accessories and Chloe pumps.
And if you haven’t been to Daylesford, it is a must-visit. Not to mention the gorgeous Isabel Lucas is the face of Daylesford!
You’ve got to dine at the Lake House, indulge your visual senses at the Convent gallery, which has been voted to be one of the best wedding receptions in Australia; pat the Alpacas (at the farm) and visit the local vintage shops.
Next up – a stunning Italian wedding!

You all know that I am a big of Street Chic pictures. These are all taken from Elle Street Chic, The Sartorialist and Garance Dore or your viewing. Those of you who love pink, you will be in or a treat.
I have had an insane week and have only clocked a minimal amount of sleep. I can only say that I cannot wait for Paris Fashion Week! The girl below in the gorgeous baby pink dress with strong shoulders really make me Paris-sick. I think it is because of the one point perspective view of the autumn trees. Her shoes are drop-dead gorgeous too.

I don’t remember the name of this pretty young thing, but her dress has left a lasting impression. I love vintage style dresses. The red belt defines her tiny waist beautifully and those shoes are highly covetable.

Super-stylist Rachel Zoe giving us the cold shoulder in a cashmere cable knit dress. She loves gold, look at all her bling, even her clutch has been giving the bejeweled treatment. I like those clear chairs! Have to remember to pull up your pants when you sit on one of them.

Eclectic in vintage fuchsia, I applaud this darling outfit- only simple and classic accessories required. Go patent leather shoes! What a contrast she is with the people behind her…

Obviously a model with great taste. I cannot get enough of her sleeveless leather biker jacket and those peep-toe boots! She gets extra style brownie points with her zebra clutch and these gold medallion necklace.

My favorite shot- pastel pink ensemble that resembles a jumpsuit. Her apricot leather belt is an elegant and essential divider of her outfit. Love it! You could do this look with denim too.
Carrying a tapestry bag, dressed in fuchsia ruffles, latex leggings and odd-coloured laces. Only the Stange can pull it off.
I have to admit, I don’t wear much pink, but these photos have inspired me to opt for pink next time I am choosing between 2 LBDs.
