OK, my hair hasn’t miraculously grown over the course of 2 days :) These are photos I’ve been saving to show you from Milan, isn’t the Chihuahua cute? He is even smaller than Theodore. As you can see, one of my favourite souvenirs from Milan was my MaxMara cape (hence the Bela Lugosi quote). This little darling shielded me from the cold and the cashmere was so luxuriously soft, ahhh.
Vintage YSL dress, YSL ring, Nina Ricci bag, Omero tights, Jil Sander sandals.

An uber cool silk Viktor & Rolf scarf bracelet!

I wore it shopping, eating, museum-ing… and even Chihuahua-patting. I don’t know how, but the dogs in Europe are so well trained, you can pet them all you like, they will sit obediently waiting for their beloved owners and will not budge from their original stationed position.

Visiting castles and museums in Alldressedup silk blouse, vintage leather pants, vintage bumbag, Repetto denim flats

And no, I didn’t buy anything from Prada, just doing some personal shopping with a girlfriend (those are not my bags!). I saw a lovely caramel cable knit jumper from Prada menswear and tried to persuade hubby to get it (so I could steal it), but he wasn’t convinced :)
I posted this ‘reminiscence’ post as I am still in Sydney. I have so much blogging to do when I return! So many stories to tell, outfits to show and interesting people to introduce you to! Have a beautiful weekend my lovelies, see you soon!

Ah we apologize for not showing some of our gorgeous mannequins as of late. Don’t worry! They still get outfit changes every week and always get to wear the best and the latest!

Feeling cozy and sexy in Rebecca McGeoch’s Cashmere top (can be worn back to front too!), Mawi necklace and Felder Felder Ring skirt.

A modern goddess in the lightest silk tulle dress by Sophia Kokosalaki, Mawi necklace and Antonia Goy origami cropped jacket.

Feeling the blues? Go on a road trip! This Karla Spetic skirt has been so popular, it is now sold out. We loved the pairing of the Alldressedup silk top and Antonia Goy’s origami coat. Aris Geldis necklace to adorn the neck and Mawi Dynamite bangle to add an edge.

And the most theatrical outfit, the leather hand-weaved Sophia Kokosalaki skirt (as seen on the runway), which we have toned down with a silk Amy Kaehne blouse. Just add some kitten heels, and you’re ready for an elegant event or an art gallery opening!

Alldressedup Silk Dresses
The new SS11 collection from Alldressedup ‘Cosmic Chaos’ is certainly causing a stir at the boutique. The Singapore label is favoured by the likes of gorgeous actresses such as Michelle Yeoh and Zi Yi Zhang. The beautiful silk dresses, tops and pants are so chic, versatile (some can be worn 2 different ways) and wearable, we hope there are still styles left for ourselves!

A few weeks back we held a special event called ‘Versastyle’ to celebrate the arrival of the new collections in store, especially from the most chic and eco-conscious Melbourne-made label Bento. All of Bento’s pieces are made within 10 km radius of the designer’s studio and they are so versatile. Samantha, Hardman (pictured) is wearing her Sophie skirt (we have it in black!) with an Alldressedup silk top
. If you look at the rack on the left of her, you will get a glimpse of her collection, lined up next to various garments that, together, create very chic and modern outfits. In this day and age, when we are bombarded with so many labels and designs, ’tis good to know that we are investing in a label that is long-lasting in the style, season and quality stakes, and every Bento garment will go with at least 3 things in your wardrobe. Guaranteed.
Special thanks to all the fabulous guests and to Cupcake Central for providing us with mouth-watering cupcakes. You are no typical frilly bakery!
