As you saw on Instagram, I had the utmost pleasure of viewing the new AW14 collection at Karen Millen headquarters 2 days ago.  The Sumptuous jacquard, quilted leather and bold tartan coats had me wishing it was winter already in Melbourne. That’s saying something because I’m usually terrified of the cold.

Karen Millen has always been renowned for their elegant dresses and occasional wear. But I know from experience that their coats also have serious investment pedigree and when I was pregnant I couldn’t bare to take this one off. However I never realised that their jeans were so flattering! I’m usually a denim snob because I used to work for Miss Sixty, but when I tried on this studded pair, my post-pregnancy figure literally leapt for joy in the privacy of the change room. No stretch, no logos, just great fabrication and a great cut. I have been converted.

VAMFF has been such a treat this year for me as I’ve had the joy of attending it with dear friends Karen (thanks for these photos!), Vincent, Muc and Dan. All 4 are incredible photographers/videographers in their own right. Karen (Fashion Photography Melbourne) is a maestro at many disciplines of photography from fashion to portraits to weddings. Vincent (Your Ensemble) is one stylish dapper whose wardrobe I would love to raid :) Muc (I Am Muc) has the smoothest head been honing his videography skills in LA with talented actors. And Dan (TreadsLike), I met the man last year at the festival. Within one short year he’s already conquering street style at New York, Milan and Paris fashion weeks. Talk about talent…

Hanging around these guys make me desperately want to up my picture-taking game. So far, I’ve mastered the ON/OFF button. I think I’ll spend the weekend doing some point and shoot. Wanna come be my test subject?

Karen Millen优雅的礼服是世界著名的。但我从经验中知道，其实她们的外套也很很值得投资.当我怀孕时，我记得穿着这件大衣甚至不想脱。不过，我从来没有意识到，Karen Millen的牛仔裤也是如此恭维！因为我曾经在Miss Sixty工作，我对牛仔有一点了解,所以对牛仔裤有很高的要求.但当我试了这条裤子，我开心得几乎在更衣室里跳起来,因为它很合适我怀孕后的身材.不需要弹力，不需要商标，裁得好,设计得就够了。

虽然我很累,但我却非常享受今年墨尔本的秋季时装周，因为与几个好朋友一起参加.他们都是优秀的摄影师.这几张照片是我亲爱的Karen Woo照的. 和这几位摄像大将在一起让我拼命地想学习摄影。到目前为止，我才掌握了开关的按钮。希望在周末我能多练习一点拍摄。你愿不愿意来做我的模特？[/spoiler]
