Not every hotel boasts its own tennis court, but then again, not every hotel is the Park Hyatt Melbourne. I was so excited to see the green turf that I almost ‘challenged’ hubby to a game of tennis, until he reminded me that the last time we played, my hand touched the ball more than the racquet. In my defence, I never had tennis lessons when I was young, and playing ‘ball girl’ is also a pretty decent cardio workout. Since the Australian Open, I’ve had a craving to pick up the racquet again. And after seeing all the sports luxe trends on the runway, any excuse to wear a tennis skirt… Maybe I should find a wall and bounce balls against it first before I conjure up any thoughts about a dual. Yesterday, I saw some 5 year olds learning tennis. They really start them young! Perhaps I should join their class., I may even have some height advantage…
Hubby and I are hoping to relive the ‘active’ days of our youth, although I keep having to remind him that chess is excluded from the line up of sports… What did you play when you were young? Team sports? Track and field? Or is it Wii? Why not get some friends together and give our bodies a decent workout? You may even acquire a new hobby for 2014! Where: Tennis Court Level 14, Park Hyatt Melbourne Wear: Livia Arena Dress / Tory Burch Sunglasses (from Sunglasses Hut) / Gigi New York Cuff / Vintage Necklace & Clutch /Tony Bianco Heels [spoiler title=”中文版”]不是每个酒店拥有自己的网球场，但话又说回来，不是每家酒店都是墨尔本的Park Hyatt宾馆。我十分高兴看到十四层楼的网球场，我几乎’挑战’老公来打一场网球比赛。但他提醒我，我们上次打的时候，我的球拍几乎没有碰到球。我小时候没有上过网球课，而且跑步检球其实是个很棒的锻炼。 自从看了澳网赛，我一直渴望拿起球拍。 而且最近很多服装设计师都在推销他们豪华的运动服装，我真想找个借口穿网球裙…也许我应该找一面墙先来练球。昨天，我看到几个5岁的孩子们在学习网球。也许我应该加入他们的阶级，至少我还会有一点身高优势… 老公和我希望我们能再一次活出青年的运动日子，虽然我得一直提醒他，象棋不算是运动…你年轻的时候喜欢哪些运动啊？是团队运动？还是田径？或者是电脑游戏？要不和一些朋友一起来锻炼一番？可能你甚至会培养一个新的爱好！[/spoiler]

There is a Wii championship starting up at work I’ve been thinking about joining, but I’m guessing I won’t be able to play my favourite wii bowling quite the same with baby bump in the way, haha. Will stick with my dog walking and swimming. :)
