The Spring/Summer 2014 collection that has completely captivated me is by Delpozo. The 40 years old Spanish haute couture label have been ‘revived’ by its new creative director Josep Font, who joined the Madrid-based house in 2012. Font has an architecture background, which may explain why his mesmerising designs embody such a perfect balance between silhouette and structure, romance and drama. Featuring the lightest tulle, sheerest organza, and the most luxurious silks, the dreamy ensembles literally leave me breathless. The unexpected pairing of violet and sand (2 of the key hues for SS14) is most endearing. I am particularly drawn to the drop-waist dress in blush, a sweet reminder of 20s style. And have you checked out the metallic sandals with bows? Gift-wrapping for the feet :)
What are you up to this weekend? Hubby and I are embarking on an exciting collaboration with the Park Hyatt today. I cannot wait to share with your our creations in the coming weeks. In the meantime, be sure to check out our shenanigans on Instagram (@cecyliadotcom). Wishing you a relaxing weekend chilling in the sun!
