I finally went for the chop 5 weeks after baby was born. My wonderful Toni & Guy hairdresser informed me that letting your locks dry naturally is the best for your tresses. They say that old habits die hard, especially when one’s been reaching for the hairdryer immediately after showering for over a decade, but I guess it pays to listen to professionals, especially when the weather’s on your side.
Of course, air-drying my hair doesn’t count as a New Year’s Resolution, but breaking old habits is definitely a good start. On my list this year though, I’ve decided to do it by the week. So the plan is, I would love to learn one new dish, read a new book and only eat one cake each week. That’s only 52 whole cakes!
Hehe, so, the surprise I mentioned over the weekend is this: I informed Bevilles of the incredible number of responses we had for the Sterling Silver Rose Gold & Diamond Ring Giveaway and asked if I could reward 3 more of my readers a little something from Bevilles. And they said yes! 3 winners were chosen at random to receive a $50 Gift Voucher each. So congratulations Sue, Tanya and Cathy! Enjoy your New Year purchases!
And one more announcement: Thank you all for entering the Finessence Photography Maternity Portrait Giveaway. Mom-to-be Lisa has been chosen as the winner of the competition. Congratulations on your pregnancy and enjoy your stunning photo-shoot!
So, back to the original topic: what about you? What are your New Year’s Resolutions?
[/spoiler]
