After trialing the Sports Luxe look for the first time [HERE], here is my second attempt. This time, the jacket takes on a more futuristic or K-Pop version (I bought it over 10 years ago in Shanghai and am finally taking it out for a stroll today, those zips on the sides of my arms can be undone!), the dress is a little more dramatic (see it in its original glory HERE) with a daring centre slit and the silver heels transforms into trainer types. The shining hardware, zips and Velcro lend a sporty edge to this tri-toned look. I wouldn’t advocate you wear it to your next indoor soccer game, lacrosse match or even to watch the footy in (the slit may be a little too inviting to some who are not used to seeing daring slits), but it serves as good armor to climb stairs.
Wear: Vintage Earrings, Jacket & Clutch / Paula Walden Rings / Hubby’s watch / Susan Rep Dress / Steve Madden trainer heels
Lately I’ve been meeting more and more people who take exercise super seriously. They clock 10 km in a single outing, pound the gym 5 days a week, and would neglect sleep for Pump. As they describe their daily routines to me, which somehow always involve juicing with plenty of silver-beet, my mind would unwittingly wander to the land of cakes, macarons and baklava… Incidental exercise is the only exercise I do: walking to local cake shops, rummaging through thrift stores and bopping when hip-hop beats are on. But I will admit, I do have a thing for stairs. Being geographically higher somehow has the same effect on my mood…
How do you exercise?
