Lately our dresses are getting fancier – more prints, more peplums, more colours and more structured, which proposes the move for footwear to be more of an accessory than an adornment. Minimal is optimal. That said, you can still work the highly-coveted neon, colour-blocking or 2 tone trends into your shoe choice. As you go shopping this season, or just picking out shoes from your hoard, choose Pumps or Ankle Strap heels. Pumps are a no-brainer, easy to slide on, hands-free! Ankle strap heels are modern and sexy with just the right balance of skin and support.

Wear these with your favourite dresses, shorts and skirts this season. Pedicure and smooth legs are pre-requisites, mini hemlines are not. Wait! Did someone mention smooth legs? After speaking at the fashion luncheon, I headed to Veet’s EasyWax Blogger Launch Party at Miss Fox hosted by Nuffnang. What an incredible night! We were treated to have our hair, makeup and nails done at the fash-pack’s favourite pampering place. Miss Fox delighted us with scrumptious canapés and irresistible signature cocktails.
