The Dark Horse

Recently The Dark Horse discovered me. No, not any dark horse, the Dark Horse, an Australian jewellery afficianado with a brilliant eye for detail; jewellery designer, sourcer and e-retailer, Aleen Apanian. She loves jewellery so much that once upon a time we would have mistaken her hands for a jewellery display. Since then, she has learnt that ‘less is more’. But hey, a girl can’t have too many costume jewels. Even ask Chanel! “Costume jewelry is not made to give women an aura of wealth, but to make them beautiful.” c’est très vrai!

Aleen has sourced a range of designers from all over the globe to bring us the prettiest and edgiest pieces. I was thrilled to see someone who appreciates talented designers as much as me. Together, we picked a few of our favourites from The Dark Horse for your viewing (and shopping) pleasure. The best thing is that The Dark Horse offers Take Home Layby! So if you purchase something over $350, you have the option of  paying only a 30% deposit, taking the purchase home to wear it right away, and having 4 weeks to pay it off! How convenient!
