A Collection Dedicated to Margherita

In my last last post I told you how smitten I was with my Violet & I dress. Well the divine Anna Linklater, designer and founder of the beautiful label has just launched her latest SS11/12 collection, titled ‘Queen of the South‘. This collection was inspired by her favourite book with the same title, her travels through Spain and Portugal, and Missoni heiress, Margherita. Anna named each piece from her collection after cities or places she visited in Spain & Portugal. The vibrant colours of this collection was created with the flamenco dancers in mind. And Margherita Missoni’s free-spirited style influenced the shapes and styles of the dresses of this collection. Here are a few of my favourite looks from her new collection.

The unique combination of Anna’s influences for her SS11/12 collection is the backbone to her being able to create stunning and wearable pieces. Her fashionista customers, like Margherita, embrace their femininity and oozes style confidence to pull off the bold and sexy bohemian-inspired looks. Many of my friends and I are big fans of Margherita. She is healthy and gorgeous and has style running in her veins. No wonder she is a muse to so many designers. Who is your muse?
