Since we opened the doors of our boutique to the public on Monday, we have had 2 celebrations in 3 days and we have been heavily blessed and have been fruitful with our sales. After all, where else in Australia can you get labels like Alldressedup,Felder Felder and Spijkers en Spijkers? We literally bring the best emerging designers from overseas to the doorsteps of the fashionistas of Melbourne. In our first week, we have been told by our customers that they saw Leighton Meester wearing one of the Felder Felder dresses on Gossip Girls and Carrie Bickmore wearing a violet Karla Spetic top on TV. These garments are their own press! I have been inundated with calls regarding Repetto shoes and Karla’s heavenly silk cocktail dresses.

You can tell that I am quite attached to every garment in the shop, it is because I did the buying in September 2009 and every piece was carefully chosen based on cut, material and comfort. I get extremely excited when ladies fall in love with the pieces because they have found something special that makes them look more beautiful and confident. Our size range is very limited so there is only one garment per size.

Something unique to our boutique is that we have a lounge area to serve Cupcake Central cupcakes and T2 teas. Our cupcake flavours are Chocolate, Cookies and Cream, Red Velvet and Vanilla. Sheryl from Cupcake Central delivers the cupcakes to us a few times a week to ensure freshness. These are the best cupcakes I have ever eaten, so I don’t mind if there are left-overs :)

The teas we serve are Earl Grey, English Breakfast, Jasmine, Strawberries and Cream, Turkish Apple and White tea. I am addicted to white tea, it has the highest amount of antioxidants and it really helps my skin.

Our swing tags can be found on each garment. This is the Hubli dress from Alldressedup SS10 collection. It is silk and is absolutely gorgeous.

Even though Melbourne is getting chillier by the day, our SS10 Alldressedup collection is attracting a lot of attention. The current season is called Pop Asia and its vibrant hues and exotic prints are become our top-sellers. In fact that red leather bag on the mannequin has found a very good home, and another lady has bought the handmade necklace in curved twists and turns. Apart from the cute passport holders (Red and Vanilla with silicon straps), all of our accessories are one-offs.
